Here’s your reminder to simply SMILE today! Tha Here’s your reminder to simply SMILE today! That’s me several years ago with my 3 toddlers & amazing hubby. We were in the trenches of wild beautiful #parenthood chaos. Mamas, no matter what stage of life you’re in, smile today! Be a JOY maker for your kids & spouse. Spread HAPPINESS with your face, even if you aren’t fully feeling it in the messy moments! I’ve found that one of the ways to lift the ENTIRE mood of my home, is to take a deep breath & share a happy expression! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know we can often feel burnt out & that we have to carry it all. 🙋🏻‍♀️ But if you smile, your family will be drawn to you through any rough moment. It’s hard to fight for joy on some days. However YOU set the tone for your entire home. JOY helps us thrive as humans & it does matters when we spread it to others. I’ve heard it is “medicine for the soul”...your smile will impact in the physical & mental wellness of your family for a lifetime. I want my kids & hubby to look back & remember feeling a sense of peace during this season of life at home together with me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It doesn’t mean you hide from sorrow. You simply have to fight for joy in the small everyday moments . Serving your family is a privilege even when you are unnoticed. Be vulnerable with others when you need a shoulder to cry on. Invite others into your struggle. However remain the comforting face that is always there to greet your husband & babies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ REFRAME your point of view with GRATITUDE when you don’t feel like looking joyful. The power of finding beauty in the little things makes the home lovely & LIFE happy. I know from experience, that SMILING changes the mood in everyone. I wish I would have realized this power earlier & kept a nicer expression on my face during the busy days of learning how to raise 3 tiny humans in only 2.5 yrs. I’m making up for those grumpy days NOW! 🥰 Be a smiling light today!
