Brevard, NC + Cleveland, SC: This couple has such special meaning to us. MC has been our beloved babysitter since our 3 kiddos were tiny. She was actually our nanny while we were off photographing many of our other wedding days! We have watched MC excel through college, land her first professional job as an adult, purchase her first home, find the love of her life & now MARRIAGE!!! Beyond proud of the life she has created for herself over the past several years! Spencer is the perfect match for MC…Kindhearted, genuine, a leader, adventurous & loving. They compliment each other in every way. This pair planned an intimate destination wedding in the mountains of North/South Carolina, where MC grew up. They flew our entire family out to be a part of the celebration & document the wedding.
The early morning ceremony took place at the breathtaking “Pretty Place” – Symmes Chapel, that overlooks the SC mountains. MC & Spencer’s sweet Grandfather’s officiated the Christ-centered ceremony. Only the couple’s closest family & friends were there to support this new chapter of their lives, making the union even more special. A brunch reception at the mountain venue of Bradley Creek Falls, followed the ceremony. The weather was absolutely perfect for a morning wedding & afternoon reception. The mountains were also a refreshingly gorgeous backdrop for photos { Always nice to photograph outside of Indiana }.
We say this all the time, however it truly was such an honor to be a part of these dear friends wedding day. MC has cared for our babies as if they were her own, over the years. A rare gem that we will forever appreciate! Enjoy gazing through some of our favorite images from this day!
